This is a very nice 161 acre park in Yonkers. My research indicated needing a permit to park at the park, so we parked at nearby Redmond park and used the South County Trailway to get here. I don't know if that was necessary or not, I have a feeling I probably could have parked here, but it was a nice walk at any rate. The main feature of the park is the pond, with a paved walking trail that loops the pond. The park also inludes a picnic areas, a pool, a playground and even a mini-golf course. Combined with the bike path, we walked about four and a half miles.

This is a major multi-town paved bike trail that starts in The Bronx and runs through Westchester County. We parked at HF Redmond Jr Memorial Park and headed south on the bike trail to reach Tibbets Brook Park. Redmond parks features some ballfields that are currently under renovation, so there is a large parking lot near the trail head that was completely empty. This busy section of trail featured a gradual downhill decline, as it passed near a golf course, a hotel and two bridges over busy roadways before reacing Tibbetts.
