This is an odd bike trail, in that this section is very short. The overall Blackstone River Greenway is not completed yet, and this section, disconnected from the rest of the trail, is only about a half mile long in total. It starts at Cold Spring Park in Woonsocket, crosses a newish looking bridge over the Blackstone River into North Smithfield, before ending abrubtly at the Massachusetts border. It's a nice section of bike trail for sure, but not very helpful for bikers trying to get from Worcester to Providence. It is a great place to take the dogs for a walk though! The pictures below are from the Woonsocket section of the trail.
We came back a couple weeks later and walked about a mile and a half on the main, 18 mile section of trail. It was right before sunset, so I had some lighting issues with the pictures.
This is a stretch of trail that runs from where we left off at River's Edge in August of 2022, to the North Smithfield and Lincoln town lines. Once leaving River's Edge, the trail runs in between the river and the train tracks, with some short side trails that get closer to the river. We actually continued on in Lincoln to the point where we left off six days earlier. We've now completed the Rhode Island sections of the trail north of Martin Street in Lincoln.

This is a small park near downtown Woonsocket. It has a paved walking path, but it's less than a mile long. The park features baseball fields and basketball courts, as well as a playground and some memorial monuments. There is supposed to be a "beach" for Mill River, but I didn't see that.

This recreation area features a playground, the entrance to the Blackstone Greenway, a Veterans Monument, and the Rivers Edge Dog Park. We visited the dog park for a few minutes, and then walked on the bike path for a bit.
When we picked up the Blackstone River Greenway again, we parked here, and took a couple of pictures in an area of the park that we didn't cover during our first visit.
