This was part of a beach walk that included the entirety of the shoreline in Allenhurst and Loch Arbour. We walked about half of the shoreline in Deal, starting at the Allenhurst border up to Deal Esplanade. There are some very elaborate beach homes along the shore here. I can't even imagine how much these houses go for. According to this page, dogs are allowed outside of "bathing season", but we passed a sign saying No Animals were allowed, so take that as you will. We didn't pass any dog walkers (or anybody else for that matter) on this walk. It's a nice stretch of beach and a very pleasant walk.

This was a continuation of the beach walk we started at Takanassee Beach in Long Branch. We walked from the north end of the beach at the town line, to where we left off last April. The beach was pretty empty on this warm spring day, likely because it was a weekday. There was a handful of sun-bathers and walkers. Mandy and Lexi got to meet a couple other dogs, which they always enjoy. On our walk back, at around 3:15PM, there was a sudden drop in temperature, and it felt like it got 20 degrees colder in a split second! It was very strange. I don't know if a front came through, or the wind just changed directions. Since it was around 80 degrees to begin with, it still wasn't too bad.
