This was another fantastic summer-like beach day in late October. Temps inland were into the 80's. It was a little cooler on the shore, but still a great day to go to the beach! This is a city beach, situated between the shore and a busy commercial district. Dogs are allowed on the beach in the off season from October through April, but they are never allowed on the boardwalk or promenade. The beach is long. We only covered the nothern most section, from Pavilion Avenue up to where Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park begins (according to the sign we encountered, dogs aren't allowed in that park). This was a fun walk on an unseasonably hot day on the Jersey Shore!
