This was the second of three Cape Cod beaches we visited on this gorgeous spring-like day in late February. Dogs are allowed on Brewster town beaches from September 16 through May 14th. We parked at Linnell Landing, and because of "Private Beach" signs to the west, we headed east for about three quarters of a mile. Part of this stretch of beach is actually Nickerson State Park and Crosby Landing Beach, another town beach. This beach was completely different from the first beach we visited on this day, Corporation Beach in Dennis. This one had no waves at all. In fact, it was eerily quiet. There were still tide pools, which the dogs almost certainly would have sat in if it was a little bit warmer. The sand was nice and soft, and we had a nice walk. After this, we headed to Red River Beach in Harwich, to wrap up our day.

We drove past this park on our last visit to this town, but it was February, so I decided to save it for better weather. We were back in the area during the spring, so we decided to check it out. There's a short walking trail, a playground area, and of course, the big windmill. This is a nice place to stop if you're looking for something quick.

We didn't plan to stop here, but the sun came out unexpectedly, and it was bright and warm here. This a town beach that runs along the north shore of the Cape. I'd like to say that waves are mild here, but there wasn't any waves at all while we were here. There are a series of jetties that stick out in the water along the shore. I actually thought that we had been here before during our Linnell Landing visit a few months prior, but this is a completely different stretch of shoreline that just looks similar to that beach. This was the 3rd stop of the day, so we only walked about a mile and a half here, but it was a good place to enjoy some sunshine on day where it seemed to be cloudy everywhere else!
