This was a good hike up a hill. We came across a geo-cache at the peak. We took some nice pics on the trail, but the best picture might be the last one that we took in the parking lot.
Hopemead State Park

This is a small state park that features a wide, flat walking trail that leads to Gardner Lake. The lake sits on the corner of Bozrah, Salem and Montville. The State Park is situated in both Bozrah and Montville. The path itself is in Bozrah, but turns south and enters Montville. There are a few nice access points to the lake. This is not to be confused with Gardner Lake State Park, another small State Park on the Salem side of the lake.
