New Arch Bridge
Date visited: 8/31/2026
As part of our Bellows Falls Adventure. we crossed into New Hampshire on the New Arch Bridge.
Usually when a river creates a border between two different places, the actual border is in the center of the river.
In this case, the entirety of the Connecticut River between New Hampshire and Vermont is part of New Hampshire. That means
the entire bridge is part of New Hampshire. There wasn't a lot to
see immediately over the bridge, and we still had more of Bellows Falls to explore, so we pretty
much just crossed the bridge, turned around and headed back.
