It was the last day of August, and we did something we hadn't done before...we went on adventures every day of the month! We came close last August, going out 30 of 31 days, but this time we didn't miss a day! It's also a stretch of 32 days in a row, but the weather for September 1st doesn't look promising, so the streak will likely end. That's okay, we all need a rest. This adventure was a ChatGPT suggestion, and it was a good one. There's a nice downtown village area to walk. It's similar to many of the other New England small towns with little shops and restaurants, as well as some small park areas. We also took a brief detour into New Hampshire over the New Arch Bridge, as well as exploring the Historic Riverfront Park. It was a mix of clouds and sun, but a comfortable day and a pretty good four mile walk. It was a nice way to end the very busy month.

This is a park along the Connecticut River located in Bellows Falls. The highlight of the park is the labyrinth. There's some short trails to walk here, and even a spot to access the river. We also took some photos around the Grist Mill Museum, adjacent to the park.
