We parked at the parking lot on Railroad Road, and walked the entire section of trail that also leads into the town of Hardwick in both directions. It was a five and a half mile walk total both ways. One section passes by "No Tresspassing" signs on either side, one of which reads "No Tresspassing. I own Firearms and a Backhoe," so that will give you an idea of the kind of area here. The trail is actually pretty nice. It's a very flat and straight trail, and an easy walk. There is a nice side trail that runs parallel with the main trail that we explored as well.
