This is a paved 12.5 mile rail trail through the towns of Marlborough, Hudson, Stow, Maynard & Acton. We covered about 2 miles (4 miles out and back) in Marlborough. It was a cold, damp, and dreary day. It had poured on our ride here, and I thought we'd have to turn around, but the rain let up right as we arrived. At one point on the trail, we passed a small garden with a lot of gnomes and stuff. There is also a nice scenic overlook with views of Fort Meadow Reservoir.
Here is our first adventure of the new year. This was a very pleasant stretch of bike trail. We started where we left off six months ago, at the cul-de-sac at the end of Sasseville Way. We headed north, quickly crossing into Hudson, walking about 2 1/2 miles before turning around and heading back. These are pictures from the short section in Marlborough, check out the Hudson page to read about the rest of our trip.
