This is the fourth Ivy League campus we've visited, following walks through Yale, Brown, and Harvard. This one is pretty well integrated into the town of Hanover. It's a nice campus, with what looked like some newer buildings and didn't give off the same "historic" feeling of the other three Ivy League schools we visited. Even though classes have started for the semester, we were here on Labor Day weekend, so we encountered few students. There are different pieces of modern art spread throughout the campus, making for some interesting pictures. A large section of the campus was under construction and not accessible as well. Despite that, this was still a fun walk on a beautiful late summer afternoon.

As part of our walk through the Dartmouth College campus, we also walked through the downtown area that is pretty tightly integrated with the campus. Part of our walk was actually on the Appalachian Trail, which is routed along sidewalks and streets through downtown Hanover. The town is a typical college town with nice little shops and restaurants, as well as some small parks and green areas. Counting our walk through the campus, we walked 5.5 miles here.
