We stopped at Great Barrington, MA on our way back from Albany, NY. My wife wanted to go to a shop, so I walked the city with the dogs. There is a short river walk trail, maybe a quarter mile at most that would be wonderful if it was expanded. The city is nice, it has a lot of little shops, as well as a couple places that made for nice photo backdrops. I remember the drive home. We decided to take Rt 57 the whole way instead of the Mass Pike, because I knew it would eventually lead us to Agawam. What I didn't realize was this path would take us through the middle of nowhere. We lost cell service completely, and didn't pass another car for miles. I couldn't help thinking that if my car broke down, we would be stuck and have to just live in Sandisfield, or whatever middle of nowhere town we were in!

We returned to this town 2 1/2 years after our first trip here. My wife wanted to visit the same shop again. I once again walked the dogs around the town. I tried to take different pictures than our previous visit.
