East Greenbush Town Park

This was our fourth stop of the day. The first three places didn't work out that well, mainly because an approaching thunderstorm seemed to be following us! The same thing happened here. We were able to get a short walk in here, a bit over a mile. This is a pretty nice town park. It has the typical town park things like athletic fields and playgrounds. There's access to a river, but no swimming. There's what looks like a meeting hall, and a fenced in dog park with small and big dog sides. There's also a series of well maintained trails in the woods. We walked through the park and some of the trails. The dogs cooled off in the water near the dam. We could hear thunder in the background, and had to get back to the car quickly. As we were leaving, wind gusts picked up and leaves and small sticks started flying everywhere as we were driving away. It started to pour shortly thereafter, so we made it out just in time!
