These are some really nice waterfalls, right in the heart of downtown Norwich. There are two sets of waterfalls, a larger and smaller one. There are some short trails that allow a great view of the larger set falls, and a park type area near the smaller falls on the other side of the railroad tracks.

The Walk Norwich Trails are a series of guided walking trails that traverse historic sections in Norwich. The Yantic Falls visit above was actually part of the "Uncas Leap Trail". This one is the "Benedict Arnold Trail", which explores Norwich's role in the Revolutionary War. It starts at Norwichtown Green and runs along East Town Street and Washington Street. It also includes an actual trail through Lowthorpe Meadow. There are stops along the way with placards that explain the historic significance of each place, and you can read more about each stop on the Walk Norwich website.
