We were here on a gloomy day, which gave the woods here a spooky feel. The trail is about a mile and a half, and is very easy and flat. It is well maintained. The trail is wide and most of it has a wood chip surface, keeping it mostly dry as well. The trail goes out to the Burnham Tavern, an old building that is closed and currently under renovations. This was a very pleasant walk through the woods.

We got here late, about 45 minutes before sunset. There looked to be a nice maze of trails here, but we didn't have time to explore them all. The park itself was a bit more than your standard town park. There is a large baseball field, and some other secondary fields, picnic tables, open areas, etc. There is also a disc golf course, which seems to be growing in popularity these days. There are some cool stone walls on the section of the trail near the baseball field.
