This is a nice little town beach, with a swim area and a playground. The dogs were prohibited from those spots, but there is a short walking trail where they are welcome, which leads to a spot where the dogs can get to the water.

This hiking area is on Clinton Land Trust Land off of Cream Pot Road. We only hiked a mile loop that hugged Bass Brook for a while. There are far more trails here to explore.
