Rockwell Park

Dates visited: 1/1/2021 & 10/24/2021

I was impressed with this park. I thought it was really nice. There's a lot going on here, a pond, some trails, some athletic courts, etc. It was kind of a gray and gloomy day, and the dogs were a mess from the trail we did prior to this. I planned to come back in the spring when the weather was nicer and there is more color, but never did. Instead, I returned in the autumn, and the park was beautiful!

ESPN

Date visited: 5/14/2021

Stopped here to take my step daughter for her second COVID vaccine shot. ESPN set this up on their campus for local high school students. While I was waiting, I got out of the car and took photos of the dogs. That's about as close to the ESPN sign as I could get, but it's cool you can see it in the background. This is as close as Mandy and Lexi will ever get to appearing on SportsCenter!

I've driven past this park many times, but this is the first time I stopped. The fall colors made for some nice photo opportunities.

Page Park

This is another nice park in Bristol. We hiked a very enjoyable loop trail around the snowy park. We had to dodge some flying frisbees from the disc golf course, but that was no bid deal!

Roberts Property Park

Date visited: 8/27/2023

This area features a nice meadow that leads into the woods. The unique thing about this place is that dogs are allowed to be off leash on the trails. We encountered a few off leash dogs that came over to say hello. Everyone was on the best behavior. We hiked a two and a half mile loop trail that included a section along a ridge. Unfortunately, there weren't great views because of the trees. The trails connect over to Birge Pond & The Hoppers Area, but we did not make it that far as we were time limited on this trip.
