After walking the length of the trail in Stoneham, we crossed over into Woburn. Directly past the town line is the tunnel under I-93. The tunnel is decorated in all sorts of graffiti. Most of it is pretty awesome. The artists are really talented. We continued past the tunnel, about three quarters of a mile to Leland Park. Near the park, the bike portion of the trail shares a road, but there is a sidewalk for pedestrians. This was a good turn around point for us, because there is plenty of parking at the park in case we want to return and pick up where left off. We took a break at the park, before heading back the way we came. We walked exactly five miles total in the two towns.
This is the short section of the greenway between the Winchester town line, and Leland Park. This portion is entirely "on road", with cemeteries on either side of the road. The road is not busy and there is a grass median that we can walk on. Once we reached Leland Park, we turned around and headed back the way we came.

We reached the pond by following the Horn Pond Bike Way section of the Tri-Community Trail. There is a sandy beach area, named Foley Beach. If it was warmer, I'm sure the dogs would have gone in the pond here. There are some cool stone steps that lead from the sidewalk down to the pond. There were many people out walking their dogs here, and a variety of different waterfowl.
