This place was a pleasant surprise. The park is pretty nice. We first hiked the trail that leads from the main park area to the dam on Three Mile River. There are some nice views of the river, as well as a cool log cabin, and various ruins of old structures along the way. On our way back from the dam, we took some side trails that loop around to the main trail. One of which runs right along a ridge with the river below. This one had a short steep section, and a few different staircases. On our way back, we also checked out the Fairy Trail. Like the other Fairy Trails we've explored, there are displays with all sorts of garden gnomes and such. The trails overall are very well maintained, and generally easy to follow, despite none of them being blazed. There was still nice foliage on some sections of the trails, which was unexpected. The place gets pretty busy. Most visitors were there with their dogs. There was a Christmas display set up for photos. I'm not sure if it was set up by the park or one of the visitors. There was a family taking photos when we arrived, but they left the display behind, so we took a photo as well. It was our first Christmas photo of the year!
