Beals Preserve

We initially set out to hike the AllTrails “Beals Preserve Trail Loop,” but ended up extending our outing to include a portion of the Aqueduct Trail. Dogs are allowed on the Beals Preserve trails; however, I didn't realize until I got home and looked it up that they aren't permitted on the Aqueduct Trail. There were no signs posted to indicate this, and we encountered several other dog walkers along the way. Although the trails were icy and muddy, we still enjoyed a pleasant hike.
