Here we have another dog friendly beach in New Jersey. This one is not quite as nice as Bayshore Waterfront Park in Middletown, but it still serves it's purpose of being a place where the dogs can cool off. There's a wide stone walking path that leads from the parking area to the beach. It connects to Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in Sayreville, which we also visited. There was a Food Truck Festival across the street from the parking area that we visited as well.
South Amboy Food Truck Festival

This was a Food Truck Festival at Allie Clark Sports Complex, across the street from the South Amboy Waterfront parking area. We checked it out after the beach. There were a bunch of different vendors, a band, and a beer garden. I got a lobster roll and a strawberry lemonade, and wound up spending $35 on lunch. Yikes!
