This was one of the busiest bike trails we've walked. We parked in a business lot that's open to the public on Sunday's near Davis Square. We headed west on the path, through Davis Square and on the way to Cambridge, where the path continues as the Alewife Linear Path. After reaching the spot where we left off two days prior, we turned around and headed back, continuing on the path past where we started, eventually reaching the site of Somerville Junction Park (currently closed for renovation). Along the way we passed a sculpture garden, with some interesting pieces of art made from random objects, as well a small fairy garden. There are also "modern art" sculptures of an elephant and two giraffes (George the Giraffe, and Big Poppy). We walked 5.25 miles total (combined with the Cambridge section) on this busy and interesting path.
