Here is another outdoor, dog-friendly art gallery. The studio provides artist residencies, and provides materials and services to the artists with buildings for glass-blowing, blacksmithing, welding, etc. Most of the pieces are centered around the main studio. There is a dirt road to follow that leads to the "Sculpture Park", which has additional pieces. Like the other outdoor art galleries and sculpture parks we've visited, the pieces are mostly modern art works. At the end of the road is an intersection with another road that leads up a steep hill. Even though it was only in the mid 70's, the sun was strong, and Mandy was pretty hot, so we walked back to the car and drove up the hill. It was a good decision, there wasn't nearly as many pieces along the road and at the top of the hill - the main piece being the giant orange structure. This area was not as well maintained as the lower section. Some spots hadn't been mowed in a while, and the grass was long. There is also a wooded trail at the top of the hill. I'm not sure if there is additional artwork along the trail, because the trail was too overgrown to attempt. There were thorn bushes right at the start. The best part of the hill portion might be the views of the surrounding countryside at the top. Despite the issues at the top of the hill, this was a fun adventure and well worth checking out if you like these kinds of places.
