We walked all two miles of this bike path located in Salem, New Hampshire (four miles out and back). It starts off right next to Tuscan Kitchen Restaurant, and runs north to the Windham Town Line where it continues as the Windham Rail Trail. The fancy outdoor seating area at the restaurant made for an interesting back drop next to the trail. Overall, this is a nice section of bike trail. There are informational signs along the way that relay the history of the area. One of which describes the Cow Tunnel, which still stands today. The ground must have been much lower back in 1849 when the tunnel was built. Either that or they had very short cows.
