We came up here to get away from the severe thunderstorms in New England. This park features a scenic area with views of a dam, and a wide, stone dust, flat trail that leads to Haviland Cove Park in Glens Falls. The trail runs in between the canal and the Hudson River, and there were plenty of spots in both where the dogs could get in the water and cool off.
