We spent St. Patrick's Day on this paved three mile trail through Peabody. We started at the southern end of the trail at Lt. Robert L. Ross Park. The trail heads past some ponds and lakes as it reaches Crystal Pond Recreation Area. There are some monuments, benches and a fishing dock here, and a bunch of geese! We were fighting the weather the whole way, and you can see from the clouds in some of the photos. Our bright sun at the start turned into on and off showers. We didn't take many photos at the north end of the trail, because I had to put the camera away so it wouldn't get too wet (putting it away entailed covering it with a plastic poop bag). The rain was on and off and mostly light. On our way back, the sun came back out by the time we reached the ponds again. It was a good six mile walk...just wish the weather was a bit better.
