This was a walk around the Norton Historic District, a large portion of which is taken up by Wheaton College. We parked at the Town Common, directly across the street from the campus. We stuck mostly to walking the perimeter of the campus, but we did cut through the campus at the end to complete our loop. I'm never sure if it's okay to just walk around a college campus, but there were a couple others walking dogs too, so I guess it's okay. One of the women that works the grounds stopped to pet the dogs. Mandy and Lexi always love getting attention from new people! Our walk around the campus and Norton Libray Park, was about two miles. To get a few more steps, we walked down Mansfield Avenue to the reservoir and back, extending our walk to 4.25 miles total.

Across the street from the main Wheaton College Campus is Norton Library Park, a small park next to the library.

After our two mile walk around Wheaton College and Library Park, we walked up Mansfield Avenue to Norton Reservoir. There was a small access path off the road that led to the spot where we took the picture. I don't know if other areas of the reservoir provide more access. On the way, we passed a house with a giant spider on the front steps.
