This was part of our four mile loop we walked that started and ended at Plum Island Point Beach in Newburyport. Like the section in Newburyport, this is a very scenic beach with nice golden colored sand. The beach featured some unique structures. Most were built with sticks, but there was a sign pole that gave distances to nearby and far away places. The pole could use some care, as many of the signs were in a state of disrepair. There was also the most sorry looking Christmas Tree I've ever seen. While it was decorated with shells, it didn't have any needles! I wonder if it was leftover from last Christmas! This was a great walk, about as good as a beach walk gets in the middle of December! Check out the pictures from the Plum Island Point Beach section on the Newburyport page for the rest of the photos from our adventure.
