This is a very cool state park at the site of the highest point in New Jersey. There is a large monument located at the exact spot. The park is large, but we only explored around the monument and down by Lake Marcia. It was a gorgeous afternoon here, and very scenic. There are some breathtaking views at the top near the monument. You can see Pennsylvania to the west, and New York to the east. We also walked part of the "Monument Trail", that leads from Lake Marcia to the monument. The park charges an admission fee in the summer months, but not after Labor Day. There wasn't many people here at all on a Friday afternoon. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves. This was a fun trip.
