This is the second time Mandy & Lexi have visited Cape Cod. There is much less traffic here in February than the middle of summer! Dogs are allowed at this park from September 16th through March 31st. Besides the beautiful beach, there are a number of trails. We hiked the 1.5 mile "Dead Neck Trail" that runs parallel with the beach with the sand dunes in between. It leads out the "State Jetty". We walked back on the beach. It was actually a tough walk. The sand is very soft, and walking on it was hard on the ankles. It was cold and windy, but very sunny and quite enjoyable.
