This is a rest area off Route 2. The apple sculpture is called the "Big Apple Of New England". It is estimated to be able to hold 20,639 apples inside of it. (20,639...not 20,638 or 20,640). It is the largest apple sculpture in New England. I guess that makes it worth a couple pictures on this website. On a serious note, the fact that the rest area building with real bathrooms closes at 5 is bush league. C'mon Massachusetts!
