This is a beatiful park located in Keene, NH. The main trail is a wide, stone dust trail that starts in the park, and then follows the river through the woods until it reaches a paved bike trail at the end. It's a great trail to take the dogs for a walk. There are even a couple spots that the dogs can sneak in a quick dip in the river if they are hot...which as you can see in some of the pictures below, Mandy and Lexi decided to do just that! There are some side trails as well, but they are hit and miss. We walked on one of them thinking it would loop back around, but it was all flooded out and we had to backtrack. Overall it was a very enjoyable walk on a beautiful, and warm spring day.

We took advantage of the longest day of the year to travel to New Hampshire after work. The sun was out here, something that has been really rare of late in the Hartford, CT area. There's a two and a half mile loop trail around the pond. The section that runs around the far side of the pond is rocky and made for a nice little challenge. In order to complete the loop, we had to walk right through the dam. It was a bit slippery, but we made it without an issue.
