Hopkinton
Hopkinton State Park

Despite the park being named "Hopkinton State Park", most of it is actually in Ashland. We hiked a short trail in the Hopkinton section that ran along side the reservoir. We didn't reach the end because the trail was flooded. The short section was nice enough. I always love pine trees this time of year, but the rest of the park was much nicer. This is actually a rest area off the Mass Pike we stopped at on the way home from Salem. There was a dedicated dog walk area, which was pretty much a mini dog park, as it was in an enclosed fence in area and was filled with tennis balls. I think having a dog park at a rest area is great!
