Quinebaug Woods

This is a Trustees of Reservations property. The one mile loop trail runs along side the Quinebaug River for a bit. Then it turns up a steep, but short incline before looping back. There are also ruins of an old chimney to explore. The trail is very well marked and maintained. This is a nice quick walk through the woods.

This spot is right around the corner from Quinebaug Woods. There are no trails here. It is primarily a fishing pier and a boat launch. I decided to stop here and snap a couple quick photos after our Quinebaug Woods hike.
