This is a great walking path through high end condominiums. Despite being on private property, the walking trail is open to the public. There are great views of the Hudson River, along with various fountains, gardens and statues. It was a ghost town on a weekday afternoon, but I bet this place is pretty busy on an evening in the summer.

This is a town park, adjacent to a power plant in the village of West Haverstraw. There is a paved loop trail around the pond, with a number of athletic fields, benches, small gardens, gazebos and a playground. It seems to be a popular place with the dog walkers.

This place was not what I expected at all. From the name of the park, I expected a beachy area along the river, but instead was a paved multi-use "River Trail" through the woods. About a half mile down the trail is a dirt side trail that does lead to a very small beachy area, but most of the beach area is actually across the town line in the town of Clarkstown!
