This was a completely different trip than we usually go on, and a lot of fun! This is a trail that runs through an outdoor art gallery. There are 120 acres here, filled with all sorts of "modern art". I've been to sculpture trails before in Putnam, CT and South Kingstown, RI previously, but they pale in comparison to this one! You are encouraged to pre-resgister before visiting, especially on the weekends or holidays, because the place can get busy. Admission is free, but they do suggest a $10 donation. We tried to get to most of the exhibits, but we may have missed a few because the dogs were getting tired. We wound up walking over 3 miles here, with a lot of posing for pictures! My favorite exhibit was the big concrete and marble structure with the pipes that you can look through. I can't believe I got Mandy and Lexi to cooperate and stay while I took pictures of them through the shiny reflective pipe on the other side. There's also a small indoor art gallery here as well with a few exhibits. The best part of the place is that is dog friendly (they must remain leashed of course!) This place is worth checking out if you are looking for something different. You can book your reservation on the Art Omi website, and read more about the originization.
