We walked the trail that connects Fall River Heritage State Park with Bicentennial Park. The trail is a combination of wooden boardwalk and various types of pavement. The battleships are on the State Park end, where we started. They are part of Battleship Cove, a museum that features World War II Naval vessles, including the USS Massachusetts, the large ship that I can't figure out how it ever got under the Braga Bridge that it is docked beside. The monuments are part of Bicentennial Park at the other end. In between the trail goes by a restaurant, a condiminium, and a power plant, running along side the Taunton River.

This park is smack in the middle of Downtown Fall River. It's basically a grassy area situated on a steep hill, with a series of sidewalks around the perimeter and zig-zagging through the park. The highlight is the pavilion in the center of the park at the top of the hill.
