This is a bike trail that runs four miles through the town of Derry. The northern end of trail is just past Hood Pond. It looks like there are plans to extend it to the north. The southern part connects to the Windham Rail Trail. We only walked the northern half. The best part of that section goes right through town. The painted murals are on the wall near O'Hara Field are impressive! The paintings celebrate the town's history with aviation. I thought it was very neat! The rest of the trail is pretty standard, through a mostly wooded area. We turned around at Quail Hill Conservation Area. Our walk was just shy of five miles.

This is a town park located off the Derry Rail Trail. It looks like there used to be a swimming beach here, but the sandy area has filled in with grass and there is a "No Swimming" sign. That's okay, because if the beach was still open, I'm sure dogs wouldn't be allowed in the water! As you can see, Mandy and Lexi used the opportinity to cool off.
