This busy park has a little bit of everything, and is a great place to bring your dogs on a summer afternoon. There's a beautiful lighthouse, a short cliff walk, playgrounds, gardens, walking trails, old ruins to explore, a small beach area and even an off-leash dog area. We enjoyed a great four mile walk around the park. Just be aware, that although the park is advertised as being "free", there is metered parking by the hour. A three hour visit cost $8. Also, there is a food stand here, but no facilities with running water to wash your hands...just porta-johns. There should be better facilities here, especially considering the cost of the parking.
