Fortunes Rocks Beach

September 16th every year is a big day for dogs who like beaches. It's a date when some beaches start allowing dogs back after the summer season. This is one of those beaches. It's actually two beaches, the south end being Fortunes Rocks Beach, and the northern end being Middle Beach. For both of these beaches, dogs are allowed any time from September 16th through May 24th. They are allowed in the summer time before 9AM and after 5PM. Also important to note that a parking permit is required between June 15th and Labor Day. We parked at the lot at the end of Bridge Road, and headed south on this beach first. The end of the beach features a large rock outcropping, which provided a good back drop for photos. We got here about an hour before low tide, so the sand was very hard, and easy to walk on. After completing this beach, we continued on to Middle Beach.

This is the second part of our four mile beach walk that started with Fortunes Rocks Beach. It was the same, flat, easy walk, as Fortunes Rocks. The beach was practically deserted, so I let the dogs run and play a bit here. Mandy and Lexi love playing on the beach. Lexi especially loves running, and had a major case of the zoomies! This was a pretty nice walk along both beaches.
