Acushnet
The Sawmill at Acushnet River Reserve

This is a small property on the site of an old sawmill, with walking trails winding through the grounds and views of the Acushnet River. The area probably looked a bit nicer a few weeks earlier, but most of the leaves had fallen by the time we visited. The property is dog friendly, and dogs must be leashed. After exploring, we walked along the road to nearby Rivers End Park in New Bedford to get in a few additional steps.
