This is a short one mile walking path along the Aberdeen Seawall. It is used primarily for fishing, as there are spots along the way designed for fishing access. It's also used for dog walking, as there are a number of poop bag stations along the way. It's a perfectly flat path that runs a little over a half a mile alongside Raritan Bay. It starts at a small parking area on Beach Drive, and it ends at Cliffwood Beach. I wanted to explore the beach more, but I received an alert on my phone that a severe thunderstorm was nearby and I could hear the thunder in the background. We turned around and headed back to the car. As it turned out the storm was just south of us, and I'm not familiar enough with New Jersey to know exactly where the towns and counties are that were mentioned in the alert.
