Elk On The Trail

This is a historic marker at Whitcomb Summit, along Route 2. According to the sign, the elk is a "Symbol of brotherhood and peace". The bronze statue, created by Eli Harvey, is about eight foot tall. There are nice views of the mountain rage behind the statue.
