This was the starting point for our Hudson River Waterfront adventure in Weehawken. We parked on the street in a free two hour spot. I was psyched from the start after a stellar job parallel parking! This small park has a playground and a pier. The weather was simply fantastic...70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The park offers great views of Midtown Manhattan. From here, we walked four miles along the waterfront, visiting various parks and stops along the way.

This was part of our Hudson River Waterfront Walk. This is actually a condominium complex. I imagine the homes go for big bucks, as the complex is built on a giant peer that jets out into the Hudson. There's a central walkway down the center of the complex that leads to a scenic overlook. I'm not really sure if the walkway is open to the public, but there was no signs indicating that it wasn't. The complex is dog friendly, and there are poop bag dispensers provided.

This was another stop on our Hudson River Waterfront Walk. Besides the paved walking trail, there are athletic fields, playgrounds, and a track here.

This was part of our Hudson River Waterfront Walk. These are the photos from the walk that weren't taken at any specific place. The walk also included stops at Lincoln Harbor Park, the Riva Pointe condominium complex, and Weehawken Waterfront Park. Overall, this was a very fun walk, with great views, on a fantastic day!

This is the section between where we left off the previous day, amd the West New York town line. This section included two dogs parks, a major ferry terminal, and a 9/11 Memorial.
